Princeville Student Initiated Into Honor Society At Drake

Jessie Hill of Princeville, Ill., has been initiated into the Drake University chapter of Alpha Lambda Delta, a national freshman honorary society for students achieving a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher.

Hill is a graduate of Princeville High School.

Founded in 1924, Alpha Lambda Delta encourages students to use their education to benefit their communities, nation and the world. Drake's chapter of Alpha Lambda Delta was established in 1938. Drake is a private, independent university in Des Moines, Iowa, with more than 3,500 undergraduate students from 47 states and 54 countries.

Drake's mission is to provide an exceptional learning environment that prepares students for meaningful personal lives, professional accomplishments and responsible global citizenship.
